The Shavers Fork Of Cheat River is a unique watershed.

Arising as a cold mountain spring in the Allegheny Mountain Region of Central West Virginia,

it flows north as part of the Ohio River and Mississippi River watersheds

We see the Shavers Fork watershed as a resource that through its cultural heritage,

natural appeal and ecological heath, will sustain an outstanding quality of life

and diverse economic community for present and future generations.
